A Virtual Visit with Mr. Todd Jamieson

On Wednesday, we welcomed Mr. Todd Jamieson through a virtual visit. A member of the Oneida of the Thames First Nation, Mr. Jamieson was born in London, Ontario, and is a self-taught artist, who has been showing and selling his art since 1992. Since 2007, Mr. Jamieson has assisted teachers in fulfilling the Indigenous Studies portion of the Ontario Curriculum, in several school boards in Southern Ontario, through art and culture presentations. Our presentation this week had a focus on the origins and meaning of Orange Shirt Day.
