Battery Drive

In partnership with Call2Recycle, EcoKids is inviting schools to participate in the EcoKids Battery Busters: Spring Cleaning Contest! From April 4, to April 28, Rotherglen School will be collecting as many used batteries as possible for our chance to win prizes that will help support future environmental initiatives at our school. We use a lot of batteries every year – but when batteries are not disposed of correctly, the hazardous materials they contain can get into the water, land and air. By recycling single-use batteries instead of throwing them away, our school can reduce pollution and also help save resources!
