Canadian Government – Grade 5

The students in Grade 5 have begun their focus on the Canadian Government and more specifically the municipal level of government. On Thursday, March 18, Oakville’s Mayor, Rob Burton, joined the students virtually to inform the students about his role and responsibilities as mayor. The students eagerly prepared inquiry-focused questions to ask Mr. Burton about his profession. It was an entertaining and informative experience for all!
