Class 8C Leadership – Candy Gram Fundraiser

Class 8C’s Leadership Class is currently involved in an exciting service project! The students of 8C have been challenged to find and raise funds for organizations within the GTA, whose mission it is to help others. Class 8C has chosen to support two organizations, Youth Without Shelter and Second Harvest.

Youth Without Shelter empowers youth facing homelessness to reach individual potential. Second Harvest is Canada’s largest food rescue charitable organization with a dual mission of environmental protection and hunger relief. They recover and redistribute perishable, nutritious, unsold food before it becomes waste to a broad network of 1200 social service organizations.

To gather funds for these two organizations, Class 8C has organized a school-wide fundraiser that includes Candy Grams and a raffle. The goal of the fundraiser is to reach $1000.00, a total of $500 for each organization.
