Our recent Upper School Information Evening gave Grade 5 and 6 families a front-row seat to the academic excellence and personal growth that happens at Rotherglen.
From interactive subject showcases led by our passionate teachers and students to heartfelt stories from our alumni, it was a night of looking back at our roots and looking forward to the future. Special thanks to our Parent Connect members for sharing the parent perspective to our families.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Rotherglen School’s Oakville Elementary Campus. I invite you to take a few moments to explore our website, and learn more about our programming and the opportunities that make a Rotherglen education a unique experience for our students.
Rotherglen is a place where students are excited to learn. At each grade level, it is our goal to engage our students in the learning process, encourage their intellectual curiosity and guide them to reaching their full potential. We focus our efforts on the development of 21st Century Skills within the framework of the curriculum we deliver, teaching our students to be problem solvers, critical thinkers, strong communicators and collaborators. Our programming combines academics, arts, athletics, extra curricular activities, leadership and character building programs to address all aspects of our students’ growth and development. True to our vision of Engaged Minds, Inspired Hearts and Purposeful Lives, we are committed to preparing our students to be meaningful contributors to their global community.
Rotherglen School is what school should be — an engaging environment dedicated to learning and student enrichment. We encourage our students to be risk takers, and we are focused on helping each of our students become confident and compassionate individuals. We foster an inclusive learning environment that facilitates trust and encourages collaboration between teachers and students. We are a school that values and respects all members of our community.
One of our greatest resources at Rotherglen is our dedicated and highly qualified faculty. Our teachers are both leaders and mentors. They are committed to ongoing learning and are supported by the school in their professional development endeavours.
I am proud that Rotherglen is well known for its caring, family-oriented community. We view the relationship between home and school as a partnership, grounded in transparent, two-way communication. We have an open door policy at Rotherglen and we have put proactive and comprehensive systems in place to keep parents informed and involved throughout their child’s educational journey.
