We were blown away by our Grade 6 students at the science fair!
For this year's STEM challenge, students put the Engineering Design Process to the test by designing and building their very own mini wind turbines.
Students worked hard to design and build sustainable wind turbines. They researched, sketched, tested and modified their prototypes to see who could generate the most electricity.

Getting Green at Rotherglen!
This Monday marked a major milestone for our campus: we planted our very own Miyawaki forest! More than 500 students from Casa to Grade 7, rolled up their sleeves to help plant 183 native trees and shrubs that will support local biodiversity for years to come.
The energy across our school community was incredible as students explored biodiversity on forest walks, studied local ecosystems, and even tackled invasive species removal! This hands-on experience gave everyone a unique opportunity to learn outside the classroom setting.
These new native plant communities will expand local habitats, support wildlife, and serve as a living classroom for generations of Rotherglen students.
Thank you to @oakvillegreen and @natgeosociety for helping to make this possible. Partnerships like this show what's possible when we come together for nature.
