Extracurricular Activities

As part of our commitment to helping our students develop their own unique talents, we make it a priority to offer a variety of inclusive and non-competitive extracurricular activities that encompass many different interests of our students. At our campus, all students are offered the opportunity to participate in a variety of extracurricular and after school clubs including: Model Building, Photography, Puppet, Chess, and Drama, to name a few. These programs give students a chance to pursue emerging and common interests with classmates that can help to promote new friendship and deepen existing relationships. Our extra curricular programming promotes an enriched and inclusive school community.

Activities are organized during lunch times, after school and as special events, such as our annual Spring Fling. Activities include Dance Aerobics and House League games and sports. Each year, the Oakville campus produces a musical play, held in May at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts.

Rotherglen also participates in the Private School’s Athletic Association, competing against various schools located in Oakville, Burlington, and Mississauga. Girls’ and Boys’ teams in the Junior and Upper

School represent Rotherglen in six sports: Cross Country Running, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Floor Hockey, and Track & Field.
