✍️📚 Language Learning in Action
Our Kindergarten students are developing their literacy skills through engaging, hands-on activities. From practicing cursive writing to building four-letter words with large movable alphabets, students are strengthening their understanding of sounds and word formation.
They also explored storytelling using story alphabets, practiced digraphs with phonogram boxes, and reinforced their learning through matching activities. A wonderful journey of learning through exploration and creativity!

Learning, leading, and inspiring!
Our Grade 5/6 students hosted an engaging April Assembly filled with meaningful themes—Earth day, World Health Day, and an exciting trivia session
They also shared an important message for Earth Day by encouraging everyone to follow the 3 R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Students also highlighted upcoming school events, keeping everyone informed and excited for what’s ahead!
Well done to our confident presenters!

Water filter challenge💧
Our Kindergarten students took on the challenge for Earth Day STEM!
Using simple materials like pebbles, rice, and coffee filters, they built their own water filters and watched as muddy water became clearer 🌍✨
A fun way to learn about clean water, pollution, and caring for our Earth 💚

Welcome to Rotherglen School’s Erin Mills Campus
Welcome to Rotherglen School’s Erin Mills Montessori Campus. Mrs. Marie Lanigan established Rotherglen School in Mississauga in 1979. Marie Lanigan’s passion for providing a nurturing environment for young children provides the foundation for all campuses of Rotherglen School. It is with great pride that we look towards our 45th year in Mississauga. The Heads of School -Ms. Tracey Chong-Kelpin and Ms. Eileen Lanigan- are actively involved in each child’s school day and continue to uphold the legacy of our founder. Ms. Tracey Chong-Kelpin and Ms. Eileen Lanigan are qualified teachers with over thirty years each at Rotherglen School.
Our school offers exceptional Montessori programs, as we set high standards of excellence for every facet of our school. Rotherglen is “what school should be!” We encourage you to continue to explore the website and to contact our office at 905.820.9445 or elanigan@rotherglen.com if you have any questions regarding our programs.
Our highly qualified and caring teachers assist in guiding Casa (JK/SK) and Elementary aged children towards independence and building self-confidence using the internationally respected Montessori method and curriculum. The materials utilized in each classroom are designed to fulfill the requirements of a complete Montessori program. The Casa program includes the areas of Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics and Culture. Rotherglen School also provides specialized Music French and Physical Education programs to enhance your child’s school day. Students are also invited to join a variety of after school clubs offered throughout the school year.
In the special atmosphere of Rotherglen School, your child’s natural ability and eagerness to learn will be cultivated. The sense of “community” achieved in each classroom and throughout the school gives each child a heightened sense of order, self-awareness, respect for others and most importantly, respect for him or herself.
We encourage you to continue to explore the website and to contact our school to arrange a tour to discuss our programs.
Sincerely,
Tracey Chong-Kelpin
