Grade 2 Visits Mountsberg Conservation Area

Grade Two students had a great trip to Mountsberg Conservation Area. They enjoyed learning about how the Indigenous people discovered and made maple syrup using the resources they had. They also learned about modern conveniences and were able to taste some of the syrup harvested at Mountsberg. The other half of the day was spent playing in the woods and getting creative with some of the materials provided. We also saw farm animals, enjoyed a wagon ride and a puppet show!
