Grade 3 Trip to Ontario Science Centre

This entry was posted in Oakville Elementary News, Rotherglen News.

Grade 3 students enjoyed a fabulous trip to the Ontario Science Center that was well worth the drive across town!

They enjoyed learning about different built structures. They also learned about structures created in nature such as spider webs, honeycombs and nests etc. The students enjoyed many hands-on building activities to test the strength of structures. We even got to pet a real live hissing cockroach! This creature happened to carry a built-in structure on its on back, its exoskeleton! We also got to visit Kidsparx a wonderful hands-on opportunity for the children.
