Grade 4 Art

Grade 4 students have been busy learning about Impressionism and specifically Claude Monet. They have been inspired to create their own versions of the Water Lily Pond originally painted by Monet in 1899. Students have selected a section of the painting to replicate in oil pastels. They are focused on using short strokes, and a variety of tints and shades to build each area of their artwork.
