Students in Grade 5 learned how to apply the principles of atmospheric perspective to their artwork in order to create more realistic landscapes.
Atmospheric perspective (which translates to “the way we see the air around us”) is a natural phenomenon. It is the reason why objects appear lighter, smaller, and less detailed as they move farther away from us. Students created digital landscapes on Google Drawings.
