Grade 5 Students Welcome Oakville Mayor Rob Burton

On Monday, March 6, Oakville’s Mayor, Rob Burton, came to visit the Grade 5 students at Rotherglen School. Mayor Burton spoke to the students about his job as mayor. The Grade 5 students have begun to learn about the Canadian Government and enjoyed asking the mayor questions about his role in municipal government. It was a wonderful way to start their unit and we thank Mayor Burton for taking time out of his busy schedule to meet the students and answer their questions.
