Grade 6 Students Learn About Flight

On Friday, April 21, our Grade 6 students visited Mountsberg Conservation Area, where they had a unique experience learning about the properties of air that make flight possible. From designing and constructing flying devices to identifying environmental impacts and hazards, it was certainly and exciting day. A definite highlight was the use of live raptors to demonstrate the natural flying abilities and aerodynamics of birds of prey using the four forces of flight.
