Grade 8 Leadership

Every year our Grade 8 students begin the school year by attending a leadership training program at Adventureworks. This experience focuses on building relationships and immersing students in shared group experiences that will allow them to build a caring community and learn the skills for creating a welcoming and supportive environment that recognizes the strengths of students. Through a myriad of activities, students learn how to build communication skills, set and achieve personal and group goals, resolve conflicts, utilize decision-making skills and identify and apply individual strengths that will contribute to group success.
