Intramural Sports at Rotherglen

Rotherglen School is excited to announce a new intramural sports format for the 2016-2017 school year.  This year, students in the junior school and upper school will have the opportunity to sign-up for a variety of organized team sports during their recess period. Intramural sports have been reorganized this year to provide a more structured setting for our students to experience teamwork, sportsmanship, and competition.
The year-long schedule is designed to give students with an interest in school teams the chance to play a sport before the start of tryouts for that sport. The intramural league will start with touch football and be followed by volleyball, basketball, floor hockey, and soccer. In addition, dodgeball and kickball leagues will also be offered. Each sport will have a tournament-style format with round-robin and championship games.
