Kindness Wall

During February, our Character Education theme has been “Respect”. At this early stage in our students’ development, lessons are often learned best through fun stories and songs. Students have learned what respect looks like and the different types of respect (respect for others, property, and self). As an extension, they have practiced noticing kindness and expressing it to others at school. A ‘Kindness Wall’, as seen in Room 7, is a wonderful visual aid for students to continuously reflect on all the kind and respectful actions that are occurring in their classroom.
