Leadership News
Recently our Grade 8 students took part in a very successful 2-day Leadership Workshop at Adventureworks! in Ancaster. This experiential learning opportunity is part of our students’ ongoing development of the knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes necessary for working together and exercising effective leadership. Our goal is for our students to develop leadership skills and display ethical behaviour that aligns with the expectations of our community and to help foster a safe, caring, respectful, and productive learning environment.
It has been a busy week at Rotherglen, with the launch of our Leadership Committees. This year we have introduced new clubs and committees for our Grade 8 students. These Leadership opportunities are designed to encourage our students to take active roles in our school community and demonstrate their ability to teach, mentor, and act as role models for our younger students.
