Our Grade 8 students have had a busy start to the year with the launch of our Grade Eight Leadership Committees. The RNN (Rotherglen News Network) met to discuss the production of bi-monthly news broadcasts. Our Fundraising Committee hit the ground running with exciting plans for the Fall Food Drive. The Assembly Committee met to discuss their plans for upcoming assemblies while the Character Education Committee considered ways to bring the important messages of the monthly Character Traits to our school community. Our exciting Newsletter Committee of budding reporters and editors were keen to get started on the monthly student-led newsletter. The Photography Committee met to discuss their plans to bring the power of pictures to our many school wide initiatives and our avid environmentalists met to discuss and plan school wide and community based activities to make the world a better and greener place.
