The Grade Two students spent a wonderful day at the McMichael Art Gallery this week. They enjoyed a guided visit through the gallery and experienced the bright and beautiful paintings created by Norval Morrisseau. They also observed the detailed paintings of the Group of Seven. Following each gallery visit, the students had the opportunity to begin their own Morrisseau creation and Group of Seven sketches. Each student displayed enthusiasm and they enjoyed this wonderful learning opportunity. A great time was had by all students! Thank you to Mrs. Lee, Mrs. Khanna, Mrs. Chaudhry, and Mrs. Khan for accompanying us on our field trip.
