The Grade Three class trip to the ROM was an excellent way to expand on their knowledge of the Timeline of Life – The Age of the Dinosaurs. During their visit, they got to see dinosaurs up close, such as, the Allosaurus, the T-Rex and the gigantic Futalognkosaurus. They also got to examine some dinosaur fossils and they were introduced to the newest dinosaur, Cornelius, which is from the Triceratops family. This newest addition was brought to the ROM by a Canadian Palaeontologist, David C. Evans. Our final activity included visiting an exhibit on Japan. They got to see some beautiful art designs and pottery made by the Japanese people. They also saw some amazing Samurai outfits.
