Meadowvale Elementary Campus
On Wednesday, February 11, our gym was transformed into a laboratory of exploration for our annual Science Fair. Students in Grade 5-7 spent the day presenting their projects to parents, students and visitors. Students started their projects at the beginning of January and were challenged to pick a topic related to their science units, develop a testable question, and design an experiment to determine whether their hypotheses were correct. Students designed experiments on a wide range of topics – from exploring which materials make the best bridge, to changing the surface tension of water. It was a very exciting day, and we are so proud of the hard work that our students did to complete their projects. Thank you to all of the families who joined us to celebrate our students’ success.
