Rotherglen’s Meadowvale Elementary Campus uses a rolling admissions system, and as such there is no final deadline to apply. We welcome you to submit your child’s application for enrollment any time after November 1, 2020, for the upcoming school year. Applications are reviewed on a first come, first served basis and placements will be offered until our campus meets its designated enrollment limit for the year. We encourage families to submit their applications in a timely way to avoid disappointment.
Please review the steps below to learn more about the application process, and contact us with any questions you may have.
Step One: Virtual Open House
Please join us for one of our virtual events. It would be our pleasure to highlight what makes Rotherglen a unique community, and share with you the many opportunities that engage and inspire our Rotherglen Students.
Step Two: Application Process
Please click here to begin the admissions process on our SchoolAdmin portal.
All interested families must complete and submit the following documentation:
- Application on our SchoolAdmin portal here
- Report cards issued during the current academic year and the previous year
- Confidential School Report (to be completed by your child’s current teacher). You can download a pdf here.
- Copy of any IEP issued to the applicant
- Any psycho-educational assessment, OT or SLP assessment (where applicable)
- Study permit (if applicable)

All forms must be submitted in order for the admissions package to be complete. The complete admissions package can be mailed, emailed or dropped off in our secure lockbox at the main school entrance.

Step Three: Interview and Entrance Assessment
Upon receipt of your application, you will be contacted to arrange a convenient time for your child to have an online interview with our Admissions team. Applicants will be interviewed with their parents.
Applicants (grades 1 – 8) will be required to complete an online academic assessment. Assessments will cover grade level literacy and numeracy expectations. The assessment allows for our Admissions team to better understand your child as a learner and helps to ensure that Rotherglen is the right educational environment/fit.
Step Four: Communication
When a student’s application process is complete, our Admissions team will reach out with an Offer of Admission. If we are unable to offer your child a placement at this time, this will be communicated to you. Your child will be placed in a waiting pool, and you will be contacted if/when a position becomes available.
Step Five: Student Registration
Please refer to our Fees and Schedules page for payment options and further details.
If you have any questions regarding the application process, please contact us at 905-565-8707 ext 2111 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
