Beginning in Grade 4 a progressive approach to instruction and learning is implemented, building upon a strong Montessori foundation. In addition to our core academic programming, students receive instruction by specialist teachers in music, computers, physical education, and French. The focus remains on providing a rich and stimulating program in which students are eager to learn. Activities designed to improve self-confidence, promote self-discipline, develop organizational skills, and respect for others and our school community are incorporated into the program. The teacher-to-student ratio in the Junior School is 1:18.
