News from Beauty and the Beast

Rotherglen School’s annual musical production for 2015, our 13th so far, has once again turned to an old favourite Disney animated movie.  Beauty and the Beast has been a favourite story tale for many years, and it is now brought to the stage with a few new twists!

Rehearsals have been well under way since the summer, and the cast has been busy practising their music, lines, and choreography. Although there are a number of named parts, every cast member is really special because they appear on stage often during the musical, all having their own characters to play. We are welcoming some old faces back in lead roles this year, but there are also some up and coming stars who have been chosen to play lead parts for the first time.
