We collected 759 cereal boxes for Food For Life! Way to go, Rotherglen! Thank you for all your support throughout the REACH Cereal Box Domino Challenge campaign!

On November 25, Rotherglen School participated in the REACH Cereal Box Domino Challenge! All Rotherglen students were invited to donate a box of cereal to participate in this fun, philanthropic event. All collected cereal boxes were donated to Food For Life, a charity in Halton Region that provides food to local food banks and other agencies that support those in need.

The cereal boxes were lined up throughout the school’s hallways, and one by one, they fell like dominos much to the delight of the students who were there to witness the domino chain fall.

The Grade 8 Leaders worked very hard throughout their latest campaign. They diligently created colourful posters, signs, and Instagram posts, authored and recited daily announcements, conducted virtual class visits, participated in morning roundabout spirit rallies during arrivals, organized the domino lines that snaked through the hallways, and stacked the truck that delivered the cereal boxes to those who need them the most.

The Grade 8 students are congratulated on a job well done. Their combined efforts influenced school culture, helped impact their local community and left an indelible mark on the memories of their fellow students. Teachers and administration are very proud of the leadership that has been on strong display!
