Remembrance Day
On Wednesday November 11, Rotherglen School held its Remembrance Day assembly. This year the Grade 4 class put together a wonderful presentation in memory of past events. They discussed the meaning of Remembrance Day and also the importance of the poppy. A lovely slideshow was shown to commemorate the family members of many of our students who took part in the wars to promote our freedom. On exhibition in the gym, there was a great deal of reflective artwork contributed by students throughout our school. A display table was also present highlighting war veteran medals, historic photographs, and other war memorabilia. We would like to recognize the Grade 4 class for their inspiring performance, giving tribute to this day. Thank you to everyone from the Rotherglen community who joined us for our assembly.
