Rotherglen Summer Primary Camp Week 2

3…2…1…Blast Off! This week at camp was out of this world! Our little astronauts explored the wonders of outer space through hands-on crafts creating their very own astronauts, colourful rocket ships and shimmering galaxies. Their imaginations soared as they crafted scenes from far-off planets and dreamt of life among the stars.

Wednesday’s Water Play was the perfect way to cool off after orbiting the galaxy – campers splashed through sprinklers, raced through the slip and slide, and shared lots of laughter under the summer sun. A special visitor from Snapology joined us, guiding the campers in creating epic LEGO rocket ships and futuristic space stations. With teamwork and creativity, our space engineers brought their intergalactic visions to life!

We ended the week with a camp-wide Bottle Rocket Launch, where excitement skyrocketed as we watched which rocket soared the highest into the sky. The cheers could be heard from another galaxy! Next week, get ready for Under the Sea as we dive into ocean adventures and all things aquatic!
