Studying the Constellations with Grade One Erin Mills Campus
During the Spring term, the Grade One students learned about the constellations. They enjoyed making their own constellation using toothpicks and marshmallows. This was a creative way for the children to see the star formations. Also, as part of their computer class lessons they completed a general description of an individual constellation and the meaning behind its name. Hopefully, on one of our clear summer evenings the children will be able to spot some familiar constellations in the night sky!
