Happy Days Activity and Imagination Camps

New friendships, lots of laughter, and busy, structured days full of hands-on engaging experiences in a safe and nurturing environment, is what you can expect when your children attend Rotherglen School’s Happy Days Activity and Imagination Camps.

Fees for Happy Days Activity and Imagination Camps:
$380 for 5 day weeks
$305 for 4 day weeks

Program Information:
• Students are required to bring their own lunches, snacks and drinks each day

• Rotherglen strives to be a nut-free and shellfish-free environment. Please ensure that food items do not contain nuts, traces of nuts, or shellfish

• No school uniform is required during the Summer
Program. One complimentary Camp t-shirt will be
provided, Camp t-shirts must be worn each day. Extra
shirts can be purchased for $15.00.

• Outdoor play is scheduled daily (weather permitting), so please remember to send sun hats, outdoor shoes, and apply and send sunscreen daily

Let’s go Rodeo!

Age: 4-6 Yee-Haw! Come square dance the day away at our Let’s go Rodeo Summer Camp. Campers will get to experience all the best of the wild west with Beanbag Boot Toss, Snake in My Boot Relay, Lasso Toss, sing rodeo songs, make bandana art, straw painting, stick horses, western vests, and enjoy some rodeo snacks, like trail mix.

Art Academy

Age: 4-6 How do illustrators and animators learn to draw?? Campers will have the opportunity to practice the different methods used in learning to be a skilful artist! We will explore life drawing - drawing settings, human figures and still objects from real life. Campers will also have the chance to draw caricatures of each other, create comic books, design patterns and learn the principles that contribute to a successful character design. We will work both large and small scale using a number of different mediums including charcoal, graphite, water-colour, ink and pen.

Sports Camp

Age: 4-6 Campers will be exposed to a wide variety of sports and fun-filled games in order to enhance their fundamental movement skills with an emphasis on the values of teamwork and fair play. Campers will also participate in a range of team-building activities to foster their communication and leadership skills

Superheroes

July 24-28
Age: 4-6 It’s a bird,…it’s a plane…it’s…..SUPERHERO WEEK! Along with discussions on what it means to be a hero, campers will design their superhero costume and logo including their unique name, power and their story. Superheroes will go through rigorous tests such as a fitness test, obstacle courses and x-ray vision. Campers will have to find all the kryptonite hidden around the school; and dispose of it to save the world! Students will also draw comics and work to earn a superhero badge presented on the last day of camp.

Lego

Age: 4-6 A Lego themed summer camp or program gives your child hands-on experience building and learning. Campers are challenged through creative play in a fun, relaxed and stimulating environment. Camps help children hone their fine motor, counting, and problem solving skills as well as promote interests in science and engineering.

Fun with Science

Age: 4-6 Fun with Science is a fun, accessible way for children to explore their sense of wonder through structured, hands-on experiences and learning opportunities. Explore science and nature, mix chemicals and make slime, play in the snow, erupt volcanoes and so MUCH MORE!

Construction

Age: 4-6 Do big trucks, diggers and tools inspire your little ones? Dig out your hard hats, put on the tool belts and get ready to read, play, learn, create and have fun on our Construction site!
