The Trailblazers Eco camp blends nature programming with recreation, adventure, art and games. It is a unique opportunity to explore and discover a variety of activities such as scavenger hunts, trail walks, gardening, making a birdfeeder, create games, painting with clay and so much more! We'll also learn about insects and related invertebrates and use magnifying glasses and collecting equipment to study these small insects. We'll learn what a habitat is and create a home for our own special animal. We'll end the week with a special Nature party!
Love to sing? Join us for a week of singing, dancing, and fun! Learn vocal harmonies and fun in the spotlight. This weeklong camp will bring together so much wonderful talent resulting in a final performance on the last day of each week of camp.
Campers will explore science, math, physics, and computer science through fun activities with different technologies (3D printing – 3D Doodler Create 3D, Tux Paint, Kid Pix 3D, Google Slides, Kahoot). Every day campers will learn to use new technology and put their logic and knowledge to the test as they complete all the challenges that come with it.
In every one-week camp, in addition to small science projects daily, campers will learn to build and program at least one fully functioning robot to accomplish a pre-defined mission. Campers will develop interest and curiosity towards math and science and enjoy the hands-on building of physical objects/robots. They will learn the logics of coding without writing code and how to work on a project in a team environment. Camp programming is balanced with daily team activities, science projects, and outdoor play.
Does your child have an interest in one subject? We’ve made this camp just for them! We provide specific training for campers in one artistic field during the camp. In addition to teaching one artistic field during the camp, we help our campers get familiar with one country’s ancient and contemporary art.
• Painting
• Sculpting
• Cartooning
• Fashion Design
• Media Arts (Digital Art, Digital Animation)
During the week-long camp, campers will learn to code, starting from the basic blocks.
MIT App Inventor is an innovative beginner’s introduction to programming and app creation that transforms the complex language of text-based coding into visual, drag-and-drop building blocks. The simple graphical interface grants even an inexperienced novice ability to create a basic, fully functional app within an hour or less. Teaching campers to embrace computational thinking.
JavaScript is the programming language of the Internet, the secret sauce that makes the Web awesome, your favorite sites interactive, and online games fun!
Python is a popular high-level programming language designed with a philosophy that emphasizes ease of readability and syntax that allows programmers both beginner and experienced programmers to express programming concepts clearly and concisely.
Game Design is project-based lessons that teach campers how to create games like Flappy Dino, Brick Breaker, and Basketball. Python 1 is recommended. Campers learn collision events, keyboard input, scorekeeping, and much more.
Band Camp is an opportunity for campers to play fun music, make new friends, and become better musicians! Each day students will receive a one-hour group lesson from a professional musician on their instrument and two hours of full band rehearsal. At the end of the camp families are invited to a band performance.
