Program Information:
• Students are required to bring their own lunches, snacks and drinks each day
• Rotherglen strives to be a nut-free and shellfish-free environment. Please ensure that food items do not contain nuts, traces of nuts, or shellfish
• No school uniform is required during Summer Camp. One complimentary camp t-shirt will be provided. Extra shirts can be purchased for $15.00.
• Outdoor play is scheduled daily (weather permitting), so please remember to send sun hats, close-toed shoes, and apply and send sunscreen daily
Cactuses, camels, and sand galore! Campers will learn all about the fascinating desert ecosystem and explore the unique flora and fauna that exists there. The activities for the week will include: desert-themed crafts, water play, active gym time, library visits, as well as indoor play with toys, puzzles, and more. They will also enjoy daily theme Circles, which will include stories, songs, and games. A camp-wide dance party, pizza lunch, ice cream treat, special guest, as well as plenty of outdoor free play time, will round out the week.
Our campers will receive a basic introduction to natural science themes, and learn to use scientific principles, such as observation, comparison and prediction, through simple experiments and art.
