Program Information:
• Students are required to bring their own lunches, snacks and drinks each day
• Rotherglen strives to be a nut-free and shellfish-free environment. Please ensure that food items do not contain nuts, traces of nuts, or shellfish
• No school uniform is required during Summer Camp. One complimentary camp t-shirt will be provided. Extra shirts can be purchased for $15.00.
• Outdoor play is scheduled daily (weather permitting), so please remember to send sun hats, close-toed shoes, and apply and send sunscreen daily
Amazing Desert Journey
July 2-5
(4-Day Week)
Cactuses, camels, and sand galore! Campers will learn all about the fascinating desert ecosystem and explore the unique flora and fauna that exists there. The activities for the week will include: desert-themed crafts, water play, active gym time, library visits, as well as indoor play with toys, puzzles, and more. They will also enjoy daily theme Circles, which will include stories, songs, and games. A camp-wide dance party, pizza lunch, ice cream treat, special guest, as well as plenty of outdoor free play time, will round out the week.
Eureka! Discover Science
July 8-12
Our campers will receive a basic introduction to natural science themes, and learn to use scientific principles, such as observation, comparison and prediction, through simple experiments and art. The activities for the week will include: science-themed crafts, water play, active gym time, library visits, as well as indoor play with toys, puzzles, and more. They will also enjoy daily theme Circles, which will include stories, songs, and games. A camp-wide dance party, pizza lunch, ice cream treat, special guest, as well as plenty of outdoor free play time, will round out the week.
Dino Expedition
July 15-19
Campers will be introduced to all types of dinosaurs, including carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. Fun facts about the largest creatures ever to walk the earth will engage our campers! The activities for the week will include: dinosaur-themed crafts, water play, active gym time, library visits, as well as indoor play with toys, puzzles, and more. They will also enjoy daily theme Circles, which will include stories, songs, and games. On the Farm

Life on the Farm is a lot of work, and a lot of fun! Campers will learn all about their favourite farm animals, such as horses, pigs, cows, and more, as well as how various food is grown and shared with all of us living in the city. The activities for the week will include: farm-themed crafts, water play, active gym time, library visits, as well as indoor play with toys, puzzles, and more. They will also enjoy daily theme Circles, which will include stories, songs, and games. Treasure Hunters

Ahoy Matey! Let’s set off on an adventure to travel the world with our friends, learning about life on desert islands and discovering buried treasure along the way. Rotherglen Mini-Olympics

Timed to coincide with the 2024 Summer Olympics, campers will learn about the history of the Olympics and the many sports and activities taking place. Campers will participate in a Mini-Olympics with fun games and challenges. The activities for the week will include: Olympics-themed crafts, water play, active gym time, library visits, as well as indoor play with toys, puzzles, and more. Slow moving vehicles to supersonic aircraft - we are all fascinated by “Things that Go”! Our campers will learn all about different modes of transportation, and how they are used in multiple ways to make our lives better. Activities for the week will include: Transportation-themed crafts, water play, active gym time, library visits, as well as indoor play with toys, puzzles, and more.
