Terry Fox Activity Day

This entry was posted in Oakville Primary News.

What an fantastic day we had at the Primary Campus! Our annual Terry Fox Activity Day was a resounding success. Our entire student body and faculty participated in entertaining assemblies, as well as a fulfilling their pledges during the walk-a-thon. The Casa and Grade 1 classes presented stories they had written about Terry Fox’s life, his admirable example, and the importance of continuing his Marathon of Hope.

The teachers were great sports as they completed their incentive challenges. It was great fun for the children to see their teachers participate in competitions and skits, and enjoy dancing alongside them at the end of the assembly.

A tremendous THANK YOU is extended to the Primary Campus families for helping us to raise an incredible $

We are so proud of our students and their families for raising more than twice our original goal. Another sincere thank you goes to Ms. Chansamone, Mrs. Parton, and especially Ms. Simpson, for the planning and orchestration of this entire event. You did an incredible job!
