Visit from the T.S.O.
We were thrilled to meet Vanessa Fralick, associate principal trombone from the Toronto Symphony Orchestra! The students were captivated as Vanessa retold the story of Ferdinand, a quiet, peaceful bull, who would prefer to stop and smell the flowers than to fight like the other bulls. Vanessa added lively musical moments to the story that added excitement and colour. The children had the opportunity to see for themselves how several brass instruments worked. Who knew that a garden hose could make music? The children had a wonderful time and we are quite certain that they will want to tell you all about her wonderful performance.
