It was great to welcome back our students last month and to see many new friendships blossom! Room One was very busy settling into routines and working with new materials. In October our class will be learning all about the Pumpkin Harvest. We will explore and discuss what we see happening outside as we move into autumn; the exciting new colours, sounds, and smells that come with the changing seasons. The children will become familiar with the life cycle of a pumpkin through stories, project work, and classroom activities. We are especially looking forward to designing and carving our own pumpkin to celebrate Halloween! It is going to be an exciting month!
