Environmental Committee News

Rotherglen School strongly believes that teaching environmental principles helps our students to recognize that the environment is fundamentally connected to everything we need as human beings to survive. It is imperative that students today, and future generations, understand that protecting our natural resources is central to health and well being.

With this in mind, we will be focusing on a variety of school wide initiatives to encourage students to reflect on their carbon footprint. Members of the Grade 7 and 8 Environmental Committee have visited each class and shared important facts about recycling. Rotherglen School hopes that these important messages will inspire our community to take action.
