Grade 2 Students Study Rocks and Minerals

The Grade 2 students enjoyed a workshop on Rocks and Minerals. They were excited to learn about Igneous, Sedimentary and Metamorphic rocks and how they were formed.The students worked in groups to classify rocks and identify the different properties of minerals. They were surprised to learn that they use minerals in different ways in their daily lives. The Grade 2 students loved being scientists by studying rocks and minerals!
