Remembrance Day

This entry was posted in Oakville Primary News.

We marked Remembrance Day at school on Thursday, November 9. Through Veterans Affairs Canada’s Postcards for Peace initiative, our Casa and Grade One students drew lovely pictures and wrote heartfelt messages to express their thanks to all of those who served Canada in times of military conflict and peace, and for those who are still serving Canadian Armed Forces members. These postcards were distributed to our local Royal Canadian Legion along with long-term care facilities in our area.

Thank you to all families who contributed photos for the campus-wide Remembrance Day video tribute featuring the family and extended family members of students who have served their country. We invite you to watch this moving Remembrance Day video presentation here.
