Casa Students enjoy Drumming Workshop

Talented musician, Lorne, from Mystic Drumz recently visited the Casa classroom.  He conducted an interactive drumming workshop with our students! The children were introduced to a variety of percussion instruments, such as bongo drums, tambourine, conga, triangle, maracas, sticks and cowbell. The children were each given a percussion instrument and a specific rhythm to play. They were exposed to the intricacies of playing in an orchestra; when to pause, play, and closely follow the hand movements of the conductor. The results were amazing and the Casa children were proud of their performance at the end of the workshop!
